At AuraFit Guides, every article we publish goes through a structured review process before it reaches you. This page explains exactly how we research, write, and maintain our content — so you know you can trust what you read here.
Who Creates Our Content
All content on AuraFit Guides is created or reviewed by Coach Alex Turner, a fitness coach (CPT) and nutrition researcher. Coach Alex has over 10 years of hands-on experience working with clients ranging from complete beginners to competitive athletes. His areas of expertise include:
- Strength training and progressive overload programming
- Fat loss and body recomposition strategies
- Evidence-based nutrition and meal planning
- Cardio conditioning and endurance training
- Habit-based coaching for long-term results
Our Research Process
Before any article is written, we research the topic using credible, peer-reviewed sources. Our primary references include:
- Peer-reviewed studies from PubMed, NCBI, and sports science journals
- Guidelines from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
- National Academy of Sports Medicine () curriculum and resources
- Precision Nutrition research and evidence summaries
- First-hand coaching experience from real client outcomes
We do not publish content based on trends or anecdote alone. If a claim cannot be supported by established research or professional consensus, we say so clearly.

How Every Article Gets Reviewed
Every piece of content on AuraFit Guides goes through the same process before it goes live. This is not optional and there are no shortcuts.
- Topic research: We check Google Search Console data, fitness community questions (Reddit r/fitness, YouTube comments, forums), and keyword research to confirm there’s genuine reader interest before we invest time in an article.
- Draft creation: The article is written against a detailed brief that specifies required sections, minimum word count (1,800+ words), mandatory citations, and specific claims to verify.
- Fact-checking: Every exercise claim is verified against ACE, ACSM, or NSCA guidelines. Every nutrition claim is checked against peer-reviewed research or established nutrition science. We do not publish “according to experts say” without identifying which experts and which research.
- Editorial review by Coach Alex Turner: Coach Alex reviews every article for accuracy, practical usefulness, and whether the advice reflects what actually works in real training — not just what sounds good in theory.
- Affiliate link audit: Any product mentioned with an affiliate link is cross-checked against our recommendation criteria. We do not add affiliate links to products we would not recommend to a friend.
- Publication and monitoring: After publication, articles are monitored for reader feedback. Corrections reported by readers are investigated and applied within 48 hours if confirmed.
This process takes longer than most content operations. That’s intentional. We publish fewer articles than most fitness sites because we prioritize accuracy over volume.
